Sniper Elite 4 adalah game shooter stealth dengan prespektif orang ketiga (TPS) yang dikembangkan oleh Rebellion Developments . Sekuel Sniper Elite III , game ini dirilis untuk Microsoft Windows , PlayStation 4 dan Xbox One pada tanggal 14 Februari 2017.

Dimainkan dari perspektif orang ketiga , ini adalah game tembak-tembakan dengan unsur kekejaman yang sungguh brutal. Ketika pemain membunuh musuh dengan menggunakan senapan sniper dari jarak jauh, maka sistem sinar X-Ray akan diaktifkan, di mana kamera permainan mengikuti peluru dari senapan sniper ke sasaran, dan menunjukkan bagian tubuh, tulang atau organ dalam tubuh. Rusak atau pecah oleh peluru.  Sistem ini juga telah diperluas untuk mencakup pecahan pecahan peluru, membunuh para bajingan secara membabi buta.
 
Peta dalam game secara signifikan lebih besar dari Sniper Elite III , yang memberi pemain lebih banyak kebebasan dan gameplay terbuka.  Peta juga menampilkan lebih banyak vertikalitas. Sistem gerakan baru permainan memungkinkan Fairburne untuk mendaki dan meraih tepian. Misi kooperatif dan mode multiplayer yang kompetitif diperkenalkan kembali.
